Key Highlights
Scope
While not a singular project, over the course of nearly 3 years, I helped to manage numerous high-profile projects for Bridgford Interiors Ltd, focusing primarily on retail, such as fit-outs of restaurants and shop outlets. Some of these projects included works for large national chains such as rebranding several Pizza Hut locations across the UK, in addition to refurbishing BHS and Currys (formerly Dixons) locations.
Special Features
As one of the Midlands and the UK’s most recognised fit-out contractors, Bridgford Interiors Ltd had asked me to oversee multiple projects, such as the fit-out of shops for many different nationwide chains, and integrating bespoke designs that best showed off their brand identity and vision. This also afforded me opportunities to work with major brands, such as Pizza Hut, who asked for me personally to help them with their massive rebranding initiative.
For them, I was tasked with delivering end-to-end fit-outs for some of their restaurants in the UK, which mainly involved updating interiors to align with the brand’s refreshed identity. This was all part of a diverse portfolio that I’ve delivered successfully for Bridgford Interiors Ltd, in addition to many other memorable projects, including retail fit-outs and refurbishing work for popular nationwide brands like BHS and Currys (formerly known as Dixons).
Challenges
Throughout my time with Bridgford Interior Ltd, I’ve encountered a myriad of unique obstacles between projects, including:
- Managing multiple projects with stringent deadlines, which required that I work with efficient scheduling and precise execution to meet the client’s timeframe and expectations.
- Reducing delivery and labour costs by leveraging some of my trade connections and industry experience, as well as optimising project budgets, yet without any compromise in quality.
- Assembling, training, and managing skilled teams, helping to create a strong workforce who are capable of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to specification.
Result
The projects that I helped to manage and deliver successfully for Bridgford Interior Ltd not just met, but often exceeded client expectations, which led to significant repeat business, including being handpicked by international clients. All this work further solidified Bridgford’s reputation as a trusted partner for fit-out projects across the Midlands and the UK. The efficiency, quality, and safety of my management style also caught the attention of other recruiters and clients.

Responsibilities
Some of the responsibilities that I had to manage during my time for Bridgford Interior Ltd, as the primary on-site manager and interior contractor for multiple high-profile projects include:
- Overseeing all aspects of on-site operations, including trade coordination, health and safety compliance, as well as client interactions.
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients, fostering trust, and securing repeat business through timely project deliveries.
- Negotiating with suppliers to help reduce costs and optimise budgets, ensuring good cost efficiencies across multiple projects.
- Recruiting, training, and managing skilled teams, ensuring that we could provide consistent quality and timely project completion.
